Achieving ethical, legal and scientific standards in the multicultural and rapidly evolving environment, as well as the efficient service in providing clinical development programs to client based on partnership and common understanding of requirements is the utmost goal of Accelsiors, which cannot be met without investment in continuous personal development.
The following is considered basic requirement for performing tasks within Accelsiors:
- Knowledge of international standards and applicable regulatory requirements, as well as acquaintance to project documents, and standard operating procedures, and familiarity with tested products,
- Skills to fulfill technical requirements and demonstrate and develop positive and motivational interpersonal relationships,
- Attitude towards responsibility holding, team work and exchange of information, self initiative within the agreed frames of objectives and standards; and problem solving.
Accelsiors Training Unit is to participate in the evaluation of these elements as well as to ensure Accelsiors staff will have opportunity for systemic and continuous professional development within Accelsiors.
Accelsiors Training Unit role and responsibility is to develop, plan, organize and perform training programs for Accelsiors staff with consideration of the following elements:
- Comprehensive competency assessment of each individual based on appraisal, knowledge testing, performance evaluation, and review of client’s and collaborator’s satisfaction level,
- Knowledge of ICH GCP and Accelsiors SOP is considered a basic set of standards and requirements that should be acquainted by each employee,
- Individuals’ personnel carrier development aspirations should be harmonized with Accelsiors’ business plans and needs for further service development,
- Training should be designed with clear objectives, assuring feed-back and follow-up, and implementing variety of techniques which includes but is not limited to lectures, workshops, on the job demonstration, mentoring, coaching and on-line training.
Special attention is paid to project specific needs for familiarization with the medical background for a particular clinical trial; and for acquiring knowledge and skills for project specific procedures, therefore Training Unit is actively participating in the development, preparation and conduct of project specific training/meetings (e.g. Investigators Meeting, Project Team meetings etc.)
